Blogging

My housemate Dan ...that´s his real name just in case you wondered... I don´t agree with using fake names, well maybe apart from in the case of witness protection, I suppose that´s a good reason to use a fake name, and if you have a fake name.. you could summarise my fake name policy in that not generally except in special cases of the legal system and extreme social embarrassment... glad we got that sorted...
My housemate Bill... only joking, now i got you guessing haven´t I.... did Dan witness a murder or do I just think he might be embarrassed to be on my blog... either may be true...
Anyway... He says if you don´t post every other day then that´s just not enough to get people keeping reading you, people forget... That´s quite an ask, I have only been doing this blogg three days and I have done two posts, and this one is complete nonsense... that´s hard, every two days... I´m not sure there´s that much in my head. Maybe I´ll just have to be happy with not writing blog gold every post... maybe some blog silver, and a bit of blog poo.
I´m not sure about all this writing, like there are so many people out there, all writing about themselves to no-one... a book I read today mentioned what it thought was the pervasive influence of today´s "hyper introspective internet bloging" Is it good that we can all put our thoughts out there... is it healthy?
One thing I like about bloging, or I think about it anyway, is its the modern writers playground, its a way to get writing and get being seen... five minutes of fame I reckon is something everyone would like, secretly, even Peter Andre, whoever he is... But this internet writing is like splurging out everything into some great information vomit cauldron. How do people write blogs, do they draft them and think about them,  almost all previous writing, particularly any good stuff, is come to us in finished painfully crafted, changed and re-changed form.... the great works of literature are never seen in draft form... imagine Shakespeare, or William Faukner, or Milton writing Paradise lost, with a little instalment every other day... bit by shoddy, random bit building their artistic impression or representation of the world for the whole world to see...
I don´t know what my housemate thinks of that...
